Keep calm people, keep calm. I’m as confused as the rest of you are about where exactly August went (which I suppose is why I can get away with this post being five days late), but to help deal with the confusion in our souls, let’s look at the pretty beauty bits that I’ve been loving recently.
First up, I of course had to grab one of the Rimmel Kate Moss nude lipsticks that were launched a couple of months ago. I picked up shade 40, which is a VERY nude shade of nude – like, borderline foundation lip – but I love it anyway because I’m a fearless mother-effer. Next, my Soap and Glory obsession has shown no sign of slowing down and I’m now the proud owner of the Sugar Crush Body Spray, which I carry around with me in my bag to keep fresh and zesty throughout the day.
Another favourite, which you will have seen before if you read my Lazy Girls’ Haircare Tips post, are my new rose gold GHDs. I had to replace my old ones after seven years of loyal service, but the fact that these ones are so beautiful definitely helped to soften the rather expensive blow. Another ‘expensive but worth it’ fave for last month was my bottle of Xen Tan Dark Lotion. I actually won this in a Twitter giveaway hosted by Gemma from Flutter and Sparkle, but I love it so much that I think I’ll definitely be forking out the £20 for another bottle before long. It delivers the most beautiful, olive-toned tan, is dark enough to satisfy even my needs AND smells amazing and almondy. Finally, I took advantage of a recent Boots offer to pick up the Nip + Fab Dragon’s Blood Fix Cleansing Pads. I can be really lazy with skincare, and on the days where I just want to quickly jump into bed or freshen up in the morning, these are a godsend.
These were my favourites from August – what were yours? Let me know in the comments!

I’m not sure whether they’re improving my skin (though I haven’t had any breakouts lately), but I do like how fresh my skin feels afterwards and that they’re so easy and convenient! xx

I found it by the gifts rather than near the other products, so maybe you just need to hunt around for it a bit 🙂 Thank you so much! xx
