I’m lucky to work in Stratford-upon-Avon, and when I’m not sat at my desk complaining that I’m hungry, I sometimes pop into Stratford town to sneak onto people’s balconies looking for unreliable men called Romeo (or get a Starbucks, basically the same thing). It was such a lovely sunny day yesterday that it was rude not to take a few outfit snaps while out and about with my long-suffering colleagues.
For those who are wondering, we do make a point of writing with quills and speak in early modern English at work.
Anywho, the usual tramp that I am, the majority of my outfit yesterday was from Primark. I bought this beautiful lilac coat for around £20 before Christmas, and I have to say that it is a wonder. I can’t be trusted with light coloured clothing items (which is mostly why I wear black all the time and look like a throwback from those delightful emo days) because I will always spill stuff down myself. So, this coat was pretty risky. BUT, I discovered the other day that it is fully machine washable and dries really well (even without a tumble dryer). I can eat spaghetto bolognaise and not worry, and that’s something that I look for in a coat (it’s cold, I sometimes wear coats while eating my dinner. Stop judging me).
This excellent fedora hat is also from Primark and it was £8. Why you would spend more on a hat, I don’t know.
My shoes are also from Primark, and I haven’t taken them off of my feet for approximately 1 month. They’re falling apart a little bit, and I think they are made from cardboard, but I do love them. They were a bargain too, at around £12 and still instore as far as I know!
I know you can’t really see them, but I’ve got on a pair of Topshop velvet running shorts that I picked up in the sales before Christmas. They’re not online anymore, but you can find a similar pair here. I also have a fabulous statement necklace from H&M, which is a magical tassley dream and still available instore (but not online, boo) and check out our Instagram for a closeup snap!
What do you think? Do you like the bin in the background of my photos?
Perfect price for the hat I don’t like to spend too much on something that somehow gets my make up powder grubby hands runing them haha I adore the coat too, it’s a beauty xxx
HAHAHA, I feel you sister. My hands are permanently grubby. HOW AND WHY xxxx
Nothing wrong with a full Primark outfit, coat is pretty cool chick. Like the shots in the street
