Hello, one and all. So, what feels like years ago, but was in fact just before Christmas, I was kindly invited along for a little spending spree in homeware store Tiger. I’d literally only discovered Tiger a couple of weeks before and had fell in love, so it was properly one of those clouds-parting, ‘the universe is giving me everything I desire’ moments. It seems that I was late to the game and most other people I know already knew all about Tiger, but if you’re like me a couple of months ago and haven’t heard of it, it’s basically the best homeware shop ever. Seriously. They stock so many pretty, quirky pieces but everything is insanely affordable.
I popped into the new store in Grand Central, Birmingham and stocked up on so many photo frames, candle holders, trinket boxes, trays (it’s a blogger’s dream for trays, FYI) and other little knick knacks. I thought it would be nice to show you the things that I got for my bedroom, as that room is one I’ve really been focusing on lately, decor-wise. I’m trying to create a kind of Scandi vibe with lots of white and grey, but then have also added a little summin’ summin’ with a few copper/rose gold pieces.
My print wall is a work in progress, and I have a couple more framed prints that are ready to go up as soon as I get round to borrowing my mum’s hammer again (I’m the worst adult, I know). I seem to be drawn to typography prints more than anything else, which I suppose isn’t too surprising since I did an English Lit degree and have always been a wordy type of person. That might also explain why I seem to have TWO ampersand ornaments, which I didn’t actually realise until taking these photos. I ain’t mad though.
I hope you all enjoyed this little homeware post; I might get round to showing the other rooms in my house off if I ever get round to tidying up (probably not though). A big thank you to Tiger for letting me live out my Supermarket Sweep dreams and go wild in their store, and if you haven’t been to your local Tiger yet then FIND IT and go!
Have you bought anything from Tiger? Let me know in the comments!
