Bomber jacket: River Island | Ivy Park vest: Topshop | Leather-look leggings: River Island (old) | Trainers: Nike | Sunglasses: eBay
Aloha friends! It’s been a while since I did an OOTD on here, so I thought I’d take my tripod off into the back garden, try to ignore the fact that my neighbours were probably watching me and laughing, and show you the sort of outfit I’ve pretty much been living in at weekends lately.
I’m all over the loungewear/casual trend at the moment – can elasticated waists and trainers just stick around forever please? Since picking up this River Island bomber jacket and my new Nikes, I’ve basically been living in them and just teaming them with a variety of different casual tops and leggings. And daaaayum, am I one comfortable chica.
(Ignore the plaster; I cut my ankle shaving because I still haven’t learned how to be a proper adult despite being 25 years of age.)
As you can see, I also hopped on the Ivy Park bandwagon. Now, this is quite a controversial thing for me to say and I may indeed be kicked out of womanhood, but I’m not actually the biggest Beyonce fan. I don’t dislike B, and she’s got some jams, but I don’t really buy into the hype all that much. However, when the Ivy Park range came out, I found that I did actually like quite a lot of the pieces, and thought this drop-arm vest would be handy for dressing down an outfit, or even throwing on over a bikini on holiday. Hell, I might go really mental and actually wear it to the gym…
You can’t see them very well, but my sunglasses also deserve a special mention. They’re these beaut rose gold reflective shades that I’m seeing all over the place right now. But whereas a lot of the independent online stores are trying to sell them for upwards of £20, I managed to find them on eBay for around a tenner. These are the sort of things that I’m sure brands all get from the same wholesalers and then just mark up a ridiculous amount, so it’s always worth checking on eBay. I know, I’m such a money saving expert – watch your back, Martin Lewis.
