Okay, I have a confession to make – this is not my outfit today. Today it’s rainy and windy outside and I plan to spend the day in bed, wearing bright pink pyjama bottoms and a hoodie. I wasn’t really sure how much of an interesting OOTD post that would make, so here is one from around a week ago that I forgot to post.
Dunagrees – Mary Jane Fashion / Crop Top – Primark / Chain – eBay / Watch – River Island / Shoes – Converse
You may know that I jumped on the 90s trend with umph and also gusto. So as soon as dungarees showed themselves again, I was determined to buy a pair and make them work. I spotted this little pair online at Mary Jane Fashion and decided to give them a try. It has to be said, I’m still not 100% sold on them – they come up a little too short for everyday wear, plus the top gapes a bit at the back despite making the straps as tight as I can. But I have got a few wears out of them, despite my misgivings.
Here I paired them with one of my many Primark crop tops, choosing a long sleeved one to balance out all the thigh on show. My trusty eBay chain, River Island watch (not really pictured, oops and sorry) and lilac Converse complete the casual look. Oh and I actually acquired these Converse second-hand from eBay for a measley £7! I might do a post soon on some of my favourite eBay steals – I have a BNWT Topshop dress that I paid £3 for en route to me in the post as we speak, so I’m certainly collecting enough examples.
What do you all think of dungarees?
