When I finally (probably late to the bandwagon again) found out that the 70s were back for summer, I was hugely excited. Claire and I have made no secret of our love of camel hued things (and probably camels in general too), and fringing is probably the best thing to happen to the world since nachos were invented.
However, after the initial excitement came a slight niggle of worry. Seventies style is very boho. Boho means weird elasticated things. There are few things I can cope with less than Robin Hood style tops with elasticated everything. There’s probably going to be a lot of cheesecloth involved, and everyone knows that cheesecloth feels bloody awful. And while in theory I like 70s prints, the ones I have seen so far have made me feel a bit nervous inside. I’m just not sure that anyone can pull off mustard yellow and brown all in one carpety print.
So obviously, the only solution was to go on a hunt for wearable 70s clothes – ones that don’t make you look like a fool in flares.
I want it all.
I just love the Missguided suede play suit and been eyeing it up for awhile now! 😉 great picks xx

I love the 70’s, all paisley and flares. I think I was born a few decades too late. I did a little suede post few weekend age and picked the playsuit, it’s amazing isn’t it!
